About TOMi™
Unlike traditional moisture meters, TOMi combines moisture, EC, salinity and in-canopy temperature into one device.
Developed by Dr. Carmen Magro, TOMi is built on decades of applied turf science. The Ceres™ sensor requires no calibration and is covered by a lifetime warranty with an active PURE Insight™ platform subscription.
Out of the box, TOMi displays live readings with threshold indicators on its built-in colour touchscreen — no phone or tablet required. Activate the PURE Insight™ platform and your data becomes a GPS-mapped, AI-driven decision tool. With PURE, you always own your data.
What TOMi measures:

Keynote Speaker — Dr. Carmen Magro, PhD, MBA, CGCS
Dr. Carmen Magro is one of the most respected figures in global turfgrass management. A former Director of the Penn State University Golf Turfgrass Management Program and Certified Golf Course Superintendent, he has spent over 30 years working with golf courses, sports facilities and tournament venues worldwide.
He played a leading role in the development of the POGO TurfPro system and holds nine patents across turf monitoring technology. In 2024 he completed his PhD, with research focused on improving turf management through advanced monitoring and a deeper understanding of the measurements that drive better agronomic decisions. He is the author of PURE Insight: A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding the Vitality of Turf and How to Monitor It for Best Decisions, published in 2025.
