Leo-Zeo Turf chosen for Regnums new golf development in Ankara

Irish Turfcare Ltd. are delighted to announce that Leo-Zeo Turf has
been selected as the soil amendment of choice for Regnums latest golf
development in Ankara, Turkey. Designed by EIGCA member Tim Lobb, Regnum
Golf Country will be Regnums fifth, 5 star golf development and going
by the stringent standards already implemented by the Regnum Group,
there is no doubt that this latest project is also set to become a world
class facility.

The golf course is currently under construction by the main
contractor Golf Tek. Progress is going well with rootzone placement
using Leo-Zeo Turf due to take place this summer.

Although a relatively new product, Leo-Zeo Turf has had tremendous
success to date. Having undergone a series of testing with European
Turfgrass laboratories, the product was first launched in 2018, and was
immediately used in a number of pitch renovations for some of the UKs
premiership football clubs with amazing results. Also in 2018, Leo-Zeo
was tried and tested by more than 50 golf course managers throughout the
UK and Ireland with excellent results every time.

When it came to decision time for Regnum, it was a very easy choice as
tests have proven that as well as amending sand to meet with all the
physical requirements outlined in the USGA specifications, Leo-Zeo also
has the ability to improve CEC, promote rooting and improve both
nutrient retention and uptake. All of this means healthier turf with
less leaching of nutrients which means cost savings with less damage to
the environment.
